prototype for a developmental CMYK drilling process. full color image is separated into cyan, magenta, yellow, and black layers, then double-sided drilled onto two separate acrylic sheets, which are then stacked on top of each other. this process is similar to color halftone printing, but with added dimensionality where each layer casts shadow on all subsequent layers and the background.
