24” x 36” distressed low relief halftone on 3/4” acrylic. Result of a failed color fill and attempt to recover which led to the discovery of a process to distress paint on acrylic without completely melting it; the genesis of all chemically distressed pieces. the piece is rich in texture and detail and evolves dramatically based on lighting. subtle gold hues are pulled forward from the very back of the piece in a way that cannot be reproduced.
